This is a site dedicated to my New York City, to each of the five boroughs. For me there is a connection to all five, in some way.

Bronx – born there

Queens – grew up there

Manhattan – worked and visited there

Brooklyn – educated and worked there

Staten Island – came of age there.

This site will have a page for each borough, telling of places there were or are important to me. Some of the sites are still around, but sadly, a good number are not. There will be connections to other sites related to several of the places.

I am proud of my roots and consider being a "Native New Yorker" to be a nationality, even if I have not lived there since August 31, 1979.
